In this ten day course the first week covers: Transformers, inductance, inductive reactance, capacitance, capacitive reactance, and time constants.
The second week covers: the structure of an atom; doping of semi-conductor material to form P-type or N-type material; the P-N junction diode; bi-polar junction transistor; field effect transistor; both junction and MOS; Zener diode; IC operational amplifiers; SCR; DIAC; and TRIAC.
Prerequisites:
Basic math skills and thorough understanding of how to use a multimeter, as well as Ohm's Law and Kirchoff's Law.
